Machining capability
These machining operations are carried out in-house:

We also run our own rubber production plant, and work with trusted partners for technology and raw material support, which adds to our supply capacity.
Equipment on the floor
26 CNC machines
Holding accuracy over long production runs, with new machines added continuously.
5 VMC machines
Including Fanuc Robodrill for high speed drilling and tapping.
Cold forging presses
From 20 tons to 250 tons, for pins and forged components.
Orbital clamping
Forming and closing tie rod ends and ball joints to high precision.
Laser cutting & bending
Plus radial drills and SPM drilling and tapping for fabricated assemblies.
In-house heat treatment
Normalising forgings and relieving stress introduced during hot forging.
New development and reverse engineering
Our in-house R&D team of qualified engineers works in CAD and CAM, supported by 3D scanning and 3D printing. We develop and design new parts, and reverse engineer components for the aftermarket and for our customers.
We have also developed our own alloy steel grade for suspension and steering parts, made to our specification at the mill and proven in steering rods, tie rod ends and ball joints.
